Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 17, 2026. This policy describes how Bhaskara AI Lab (“we”, “us”) handles data across bhaskara.io and our products.
Our principle
Sarathi is local-first. It is designed so that your work — your code, your data, and your model credentials — stays on your machine except when you intentionally use a connected model provider.
What we collect
- Account data. When you sign up for a product (for example, Sarathi on neuralsarathi.io), we store the email address you provide and a hashed password, via our auth provider.
- License data. To issue and verify licenses we store a device identifier, license key, and expiry. This is the minimum needed to operate a paid product.
- Transactional data. Payment metadata (such as subscription status) is stored to operate billing. Card details are handled entirely by our payment processor; we never see or store them.
- Contact correspondence. If you email us, we keep that correspondence to reply and for our records.
What happens on your machine stays on your machine
When you run Sarathi, the prompts you send, the code generated, and the files read are processed locally and routed directly to the LLM providers whose keys you configure. Those providers have their own privacy terms. We do not intermediate or observe that traffic.
Analytics
bhaskara.io itself uses minimal, privacy-respecting analytics to count aggregate page views. We do not use cross-site tracking, advertising pixels, or third-party fingerprinting.
Data retention
We retain account and license data for as long as your account is active, plus a short window afterward for record-keeping. You may request deletion at any time by emailing lab@bhaskara.io.
